We can only achieve our ambition if protection is sold with advice. For us, advisers are the only distribution channel. We're fully committed to the adviser market and we hope that, working in partnership with advisers, together we'll grow the protection market.

Andy Peters

Distribution Director

Andy has worked in intermediary distribution for nearly 40 years and was a founding director of Bright Grey. He started his financial services career with GRE in 1979.

Mike Devaney

Head of Strategic Partnerships

Mike has spent his whole career in financial services. He helped launch Bright Grey to the market in 2003, and during his 15 years at Royal London he managed the strategic relationships with their key distribution partners.

Jacqui Gillies

Marketing Director

Jacqui is a marketing professional with over 35 years in financial services. She led the Marketing Team who built Bright Grey's enviable reputation as 'the leading provider of marketing support for advisers'. Jacqui has worked with many large brands including GRE, Aegon, Prudential and Royal London.

Alan Waddington

Head of Field Sales

Alan's entire career has been in financial services, the last 15 years managing intermediary sales at regional and national levels. His previous companies include Vitality and RBS group and most recently he was Senior National Account Manager at British Friendly.

Jason Coleman

Training and Competence Manager

Jason has enjoyed a 30-year career in financial services, 12 of which have been in learning & development. He has developed a broad spectrum of skills having worked for a diverse range of organisations such as the RFU, Mars and Phoenix.

Rachael Welsh

Marketing Manager

Rachael started her marketing career at Royal London, promoting both Bright Grey and Scottish Provident. Following that, she spent time in a creative agency working with financial services clients. Most recently she held various marketing roles at a leading communications company.

Tim Wyatt

Sales Operations Manager

Tim has 20 years’ financial services experience. His protection career started in 2008 as an Account Manager with Royal London, working closely with advisers to help them grow their protection sales. Before joining Guardian in 2017, he spent time as a protection adviser.
