The typical way

When a client makes a claim, most providers offer a set list of services to help them recover from illness and to support their family. However, take-up of these services is usually low.

Why? Because the services aren’t always relevant to every individual client's needs.

For example, a second medical opinion is only of value if you need a second medical opinion. For most of us, one is enough.

The Guardian way

At Guardian, we don’t have a set list of additional services at point of claim. Our approach is much more personal.

Our Claims Team listen to a client’s concerns, identify the exact help they need and make it happen.

Our Claims Team have discretion to pay for or contribute to the cost of any exceptional help needed.

The service is called HALO, and no other claims service does more when it matters most.
